Duties
Assist technicians with routine vehicle repairs, maintenance, and inspections
Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to perform basic repairs and assembly tasks
Follow schematics and technical manuals to understand vehicle systems and repair procedures
Support with heavy lifting and moving parts or vehicles safely within the shop workplace
Participate in vehicle diagnostics to identify issues and support troubleshooting efforts
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
Contribute to ongoing vehicle maintenance projects, including oil changes, tire rotations, and component replacements
Qualifications
Basic mechanical knowledge with a strong interest in automotive systems and repair techniques
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and schematics preferred
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during various tasks
Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members
Solid attention to detail with a proactive approach to learning new skills
