Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and responsible Class 1 Driver to join our equipment delivery team. This role involves operating commercial vehicles to transport heavy equipment safely and efficiently to and from customers job sites. The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy equipment operation, loading/unloading heavy equipment in various environments, secure tie down procedures, and ensuring smooth delivery operations.

The candidate must be personable and present well as they will be interacting with our customers when delivering equipment. Candidate must be punctual and reliable. occasional weekend work may be required. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals committed to safety, reliability, and professional growth. 5-year driver's abstract is required.

Responsibilities
Safely operate Class 1 commercial vehicles to transport equipment to various locations and site conditions
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of truck, trailer and equipment to ensure safety and compliance with regulations




Load and unload heavy equipment in various settings
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams
Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation duties

Skills
Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
Experience with heavy equipment operating (man-lifts, telehandlers, excavators, dozers, scissor lifts)
Solid understanding of transportation regulations and safety standards
Excellent communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions
Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in various conditions
Physical ability to load, unload, and handle freight, including lifting heavy items when necessary

This position is ideal for motivated individuals who prioritize safety, efficiency, and professionalism in their work as a Class 1 Driver. Pay: $28.00-$40.00 per hour
