Dukes Freight Services is currently hiring an experienced Class 1 Driver for local deliveries within Edmonton and surrounding areas.

Job Details
Position: Class 1 Driver
Location: Edmonton, AB
Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour
Schedule: 5 days per week
Hours: 10 hours per day
Employment Type: Full-Time

Requirements
Valid Class 1 Driver's License
Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred
Experience operating and securing loads on flat decks
Robust knowledge of load securement practices
Clean driver's abstract
Ability to work independently and safely
Knowledge of Edmonton and surrounding areas

Responsibilities
Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle for local deliveries
Load, secure, and transport materials on flat deck trailers
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Complete required documentation accurately
Follow company safety policies and transportation regulations




Provide qualified customer service
Responsible for fueling mobile and stationary equipment on site locations
Accurately recording all deliveries to ensure proper documentation
Maintains accurate accountability of truck equipment and reports any mechanical and physical defects
Other duties as assigned
