Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable, skilled Full time Handyman to join our property management team. This role is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep across our managed residential and/or commercial properties. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while delivering high-quality work and excellent service to tenants and property owners.

Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and flooring
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair calls
Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety issues
Maintain properties to company standards for cleanliness, safety, and appearance
Troubleshoot and diagnose repair issues efficiently
Coordinate with property managers regarding work orders and project timelines
Use and maintain tools and equipment safely
Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations




Document completed work and materials used

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a handyman or in general maintenance
Strong knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good problem-solving and time management skills
Strong communication and customer service skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor as required

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in property management or multi-unit housing
HVAC or specialized trade experience
Basic computer or mobile app skills for work order systems
