Edge Catering is an established and growing corporate catering company operating from a custom-built facility in East Village, catering kitchen, baking and pastry kitchen, tasting room, and offices.

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and skilled full time Sandwich Cook & Prep Cook to join our corporate production team. This role focuses exclusively on daily corporate catering production . The ideal candidate works efficiently, maintains high food quality standards, and is comfortable in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare sandwiches, wraps, salads, breakfast items, and corporate lunch offerings
Execute daily prep and production efficiently and consistently
Follow recipes, portioning, labeling, and presentation standards
Maintain organized prep stations, walk-ins, and dry storage areas
Assist with ingredient preparation, slicing, portioning, and packaging
Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are maintained
Work independently while supporting the kitchen production team
Help maintain production timelines for daily corporate orders





Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 1–2 years of professional kitchen or sandwich/prep experience
Experience in catering, cafés, delis, or high-volume food production preferred
Strong knife skills and attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
FoodSafe Level 1 certification preferred
Legally eligible to work in Canada
Must be able to read, write, and speak English

Schedule
Full time position
Early morning availability required
Primarily weekday corporate production schedule
Weekend availability required
