Responsibilities
Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, and sterilizers to thoroughly disinfect instruments
Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and integrity before sterilization
Follow detailed sterilization procedures
Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles, equipment maintenance, and inventory logs
Ensure proper packaging and labeling of sterilized items
Adhere strictly to infection control policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory compliance requirements

Requirements




Prior experience in a sterile processing or medical equipment sterilization environment is preferred
Ability to operate complex sterilization machinery with precision and care
Strong attention to detail to detect any defects or contamination risks in instruments
Excellent organizational skills for maintaining detailed records and managing inventory efficiently
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
