In this role, you will oversee daily and month-end accounting operations, collaborating closely with senior management to ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain compliance, and implement efficient processes that support the organization’s growth. In this role, you will:
Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, payroll, employee expenses, and bank reconciliations
Prepare month-end entries, including accruals, prepaid expenses, loans, and leases
Maintain accurate financial records and provide timely reporting to senior leadership
Track assets, apply depreciation, and oversee vendor contracts and pricing
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Analyze account balances, identify variances, and provide actionable recommendations
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives




Resolve discrepancies in accounts receivable and ensure accurate project billing
Recommend improvements to accounting processes and team workflows
Collaborate with project managers to support project-specific accounting needs

Qualifications:

The main qualifications for this role include:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field
2 - 5 years of hands-on accounting experience
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards

Assets:
CPA designation or progress towards CPA
Experience with Intercompany transactions
Deltek Vantage Point software knowledge
Project accounting/management experience
WIPS or Percentage of Completion experience

Compensation:
$65,000 - $75,000 salary range
2% yearly salary increase
