We're hiring a Quality Technician in Woodstock!
Full time position
Day shift, 6am-3pm
Starting at $21/hr, negotiable based on experience

Responsibilities:
Perform visual and dimensional inspections of defective tubes and materials in the quarantine area
Rework non-conforming materials according to established quality standards and engineering specifications
Sort and segregate non-conforming inventory and ensure proper identification, tagging, and documentation
Manage quarantine inventory and maintain accurate tag and log entries
Maintain organization and 5S standards within the quarantine area
Safely operate sample-cutting equipment to prepare tube samples for tensile testing
Support quality testing and inspection activities as required
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and special quality projects
Work collaboratively with the Quality team and other departments to support product conformance

Requirements:
High School Diploma required
Valid Forklift License required
1–2 year certificate in Quality Assurance or Manufacturing is preferred




Minimum 1 year of experience in a quality control, inspection, or manufacturing workplace
Experience in a metal, tube, or heavy manufacturing facility is preferred
Hands-on experience using basic measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges
Familiarity with geometric tolerancing, gauges, and test equipment
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, or data entry systems
Ability to safely operate mechanical cutting tools and equipment
