Full time Housekeeper / Residential Cleaner

About the Position

City Gate Suites provides professionally managed furnished apartments for corporate, relocation and extended-stay guests in Mississauga and surrounding areas.

We are looking for a reliable, efficient and detail-oriented Full-Time Housekeeper / Residential Cleaner to clean, prepare and maintain our furnished apartments.

This is a mobile housekeeping position. You will travel between our office/storage location and different furnished apartments throughout the workday. A reliable personal vehicle is required.

Responsibilities

- Perform complete turnover cleaning of furnished apartments between guest stays
- Provide housekeeping services during guest stays as scheduled
- Clean and sanitize kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- Vacuum and mop floors and clean surfaces, mirrors, fixtures and other areas
- Clean kitchen appliances, including refrigerator, microwave, stove and oven as required
- Make beds and prepare bedrooms for incoming guests
- Change bed linens and towels during guest housekeeping services as required
- Wash, dry, fold and organize linens and towels
- Check linens, towels, pillows and bedding for stains or damage
- Pick up clean sheets, towels, pillows, comforters, cleaning supplies and other required items from the City Gate Suites office/storage location
- Transport linens, bedding, supplies and other items to assigned properties using your personal vehicle
- Return used linens,



towels and other items to the designated City Gate Suites location
- Restock toiletries, kitchen supplies and other guest items
- Ensure each apartment has the required linens, supplies and guest items
- Ensure furniture, décor and household items are properly arranged
- Complete a final inspection before each guest arrival
- Identify and report damage, missing items or maintenance issues
- Take and upload photos when required
- Follow company cleaning checklists and quality standards
- Perform other housekeeping, cleaning and related duties as assigned

Requirements
- Previous residential, hotel, Airbnb, short-term rental or furnished-apartment cleaning experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and high cleaning standards
- Able to work efficiently while maintaining quality
- Reliable, punctual and responsible
- Able to work independently without constant supervision
- Able to follow cleaning procedures and checklists
- Comfortable using a smartphone for schedules, photos and communication
- Able to identify and report damage or maintenance problems
- Physically able to perform regular housekeeping duties, including bending, lifting, carrying supplies, vacuuming and making beds
- Valid driver's licence and reliable personal vehicle
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
