Duties
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe and efficient workflow
Assist dentists during examinations, procedures, and treatments with confidence and professionalism
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), including digital imaging technology when applicable
Manage patient records accurately using dental software to ensure seamless documentation
Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout visits
Support front desk operations by handling dental receptionist duties, including scheduling appointments and verifying patient information
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and preventive measures tailored to pediatric and adult patients
Requirements
Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in accordance with provincial regulations
Proven experience with dental assisting procedures, including radiography and sterilization protocols
Familiarity with dental software systems for record management
Ability to communicate effectively using medical terminology relevant to dentistry
Experience supporting pediatric patients with gentle care and patience in a busy clinical environment
Solid organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a quick-paced setting

Pay: $20.78-$34.79 per hour
