We are currently seeking an experienced and responsible Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations in the Greater Vancouver area. The ideal candidate will have strong kitchen management experience, leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining consistent food quality, safety, and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage daily kitchen operations
Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate kitchen staff
Ensure consistent food quality, preparation standards, and presentation
Maintain and enforce food safety, sanitation, and kitchen management standards
Monitor food costs, reduce waste, and improve overall kitchen efficiency
Manage inventory and coordinate food purchasing and replenishment
Prepare staff schedules and organize daily kitchen assignments
Communicate and collaborate effectively with restaurant management




Ensure smooth, productive, and organized kitchen operations during peak service hours
Support recent product development, menu optimization, and other company operational initiatives

Qualifications:
2–3+ years of kitchen management experience
Experience in high-volume or large-scale restaurant operations is preferred
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills
Good knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Ability to work effectively in a quick-paced environment
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays as required
Fluency in both English and Mandarin is preferred
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada

*The position may be assigned to different Happy Lamb locations within the Greater Vancouver area based on operational needs.

Pay: From $58,000.00 per year
