AP Specialist: On behalf of our skilled services client, Procom is searching for an AP Specialist for a permanent role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Calgary office.

AP Specialist - : The AP Specialist will play a crucial role in managing and processing accounts payable activities within a high-volume transaction environment. This role focuses on ensuring productive and accurate processing of invoices, vendor management, and handling multi-currency transactions.

AP Specialist - Responsibilities:
Monitor dedicated accounts payable inbox for invoice submissions and answer vendor inquiries
Review, verify, and match documentation
Code and post both disbursements and general expenses
Obtain necessary approvals and ensure proper documentation is attached to all invoices
Manage a variety of internal and external vendor inquiries and resolve any discrepancies
Review employee expense reports, ensuring policy alignment and proper coding through our automated workflow
Execute weekly EFT and wire payment runs (multi-currency)
Process vendor set-up information into the accounting system
Reconcile vendor and visa accounts with statements and previous payments




Work in a multi-currency and entity environment
Act as back-up to National accounts payable team members
Other responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor

AP Specialist - Mandatory Skills:
Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline preferred
3+ years of experience in accounts payable within a law firm or a professional services industry
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams
Demonstrates good judgment and professionalism

AP Specialist – Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience working in a company with a high volume of transactions
Experience using Aderant is an asset

AP Specialist - Assignment Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This is an onsite position with 4 days in the office required.
