Job Description
We are urgently hiring experienced Forklift Operators for a short-term assignment in Delta, BC. The successful candidates must be experienced operating both sit-down counterbalance and stand-up forklifts and be comfortable working in a warehouse workplace.
Responsibilities
Safely operate sit-down counterbalance and stand-up forklifts.
Move, load, unload, and organize materials within the warehouse.
Operate equipment safely in tight spaces.
Assist with general warehouse duties when forklift work is not available.
Lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Follow all workplace safety rules and procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
Previous hands-on experience operating both sit-down counterbalance and stand-up forklifts.
Valid forklift certification.
Comfortable working in tight spaces.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Must be reliable and available for the full temporary assignment.
Phones are not permitted on the warehouse floor or while operating equipment.
Must follow the workplace's English-only communication policy.
