Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, handle transactions accurately, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. This role is perfect for individuals with strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a passion for retail sales. Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus, as they enhance our ability to serve diverse customers effectively.

Duties
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases
Operate POS systems accurately to process sales transactions
Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision and security
Manage product merchandising at the checkout area to ensure an appealing presentation
Upsell products and promote ongoing promotions or special offers to increase sales
Provide product demos when applicable and answer customer inquiries about merchandise
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area
Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures and store policies
Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment as needed




Support team members in achieving sales goals through effective communication and teamwork

Skills
Robust customer service and communication skills, including phone etiquette
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
Experience with POS systems and retail sales operations
Ability to perform product demos and upselling techniques effectively
Organizational skills to manage time efficiently during busy periods
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base
Knowledge of merchandising standards and retail setting dynamics
Technical sales experience or familiarity with technology products is a plus
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude
