Freelance Construction Group is looking for motivated, reliable people to join our installation team for a six-month project in Langford, BC. Work includes installing luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring, carpet tile, granite countertops and matching granite backsplashes, and SPC marble-look shower panels.
Onsite training is provided. Installation or construction experience is an asset, but you do not need experience with every material listed. We value a willingness to learn, attention to detail, and a dependable work ethic.
Team members must be willing to work across all listed installation tasks and switch between them as project needs change, including during the same workday.
Responsibilities
Install LVP flooring and carpet tile.
Install granite countertops and matching backsplashes made from the same granite material.
Install SPC marble-look shower panels.
Measure, prepare, and fit materials according to project instructions.
Prepare installation surfaces and complete finishing work as directed.
Use tools and handle materials safely, following training and site procedures.
Protect completed work and keep tools, materials, and work areas organized.
Communicate with the team and move between installation tasks as needed.
Requirements
Reliable attendance and punctuality for the stated work schedule.
Willingness to learn and carry out any of the listed installation tasks.
Ability to follow instructions, work with others, and pay attention to detail.
Commitment to protected work practices and quality workmanship.
Availability for the full six-month contract.
Previous flooring, countertop, wall-panel, or general renovation experience is an asset.
