Duties
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including exams, cleanings, restorations, and orthodontic treatments
Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, maintaining strict sterilization protocols
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring accuracy and patient safety
Manage patient records using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic, documenting procedures and updates efficiently
Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout visits
Support front desk operations by greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and managing patient check-in/check-out processes




Assist with pediatrics and orthodontics cases, adapting techniques to meet specific patient needs

Experience
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with a valid certification from an accredited program
Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Epic is highly preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry and orthodontics enhances communication and efficiency
Experience working with pediatric patients and in orthodontic settings is a plus
Robust understanding of dental assisting procedures, infection control standards, and sterilization techniques
Ability to operate CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools for certain restorative or orthodontic applications is advantageous
Prior experience in a busy dental clinic workplace demonstrating excellent organizational skills

Pay: $31.00-$33.00 per hour
