Heavy Equipment Operator - Rubber products manufacturing

Location: Ashern, MB
Salary: $18.00 to $25.00 / hour (To be negotiated)
Vacancies: 1 Vacancy
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time, 40 hours per week
Start date: As soon as possible
Employment conditions: Day, Evening, Shift
Operate heavy machinery such as a Excavator, Bobcat, Forklift, etc.
Ensure that machinery, equipment and tools are operational by performing routine and preventative maintenance and cleaning the machinery and equipment.
Maintain a high level of Environmental and Health and Safety performance; identify and report risks.
Other duties and tasks as assigned.

Job requirements:

Languages: English

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: 3+ years of experience.

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles, Gloves





Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's license

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods.
Work Site Environment: Noisy, Odors, Dusty, Hot, Cold/refrigerated

Weight Handling: Up to 30 kg (65 lbs), More than 30 kg (65 lbs).

Work Setting: Rubber products manufacturing company.
