Tactical Retail Security Guard – Eaton Centre, Downtown Toronto

Secure Force Security Inc. is hiring a strong, professional, and experienced Tactical Retail Security Guard for a permanent retail security position at Eaton Centre in Downtown Toronto.

This position requires someone with a strong physical presence, excellent communication skills, confidence in dealing with the public, and proven retail security experience.

Schedule
Monday–Friday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Saturday–Sunday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Candidates must be able to reliably work the required schedule.

Requirements
Minimum height: 6'0"
Previous retail store security experience is mandatory
Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
Solid and professional physical presence
Excellent English communication skills
Experience with loss prevention, theft deterrence, access control, and handling difficult customers
Strong conflict-resolution and de-escalation skills
Able to stand and patrol for extended periods
Professional appearance and customer-service attitude
Comfortable working in a busy, high-traffic downtown retail setting
Reliable,



punctual, alert, and able to respond appropriately to incidents

Key Responsibilities

Monitor the retail premises, provide a visible security presence, deter theft and suspicious activity, assist store management with security concerns, professionally handle incidents and confrontations, complete detailed incident reports, and contact emergency services when necessary.
