Responsibilities
Assist with the installation, assembly, and setup of equipment according to specifications and safety standards
Transport and position heavy or bulky equipment using appropriate tools and techniques
Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly after installation
Follow detailed instructions from supervisors or technical manuals to complete tasks accurately
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
Support team members during project phases by providing manual labour as needed
Report any issues or discrepancies encountered during installation to supervisors promptly
Requirements
Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety procedures and protocols
Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and work effectively within a team
Prior experience in equipment installation, construction, or manual labour is preferred but not mandatory
Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation is an asset for site travel
Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and adapt to changing environments
Willing to work out of town on occasion
Willing to shower into hog barns and follow bio-security guidelines.
