Merchant Machine Tools is looking for a hands-on Facilities Coordinator & Jr. Service Technician to keep our shop running — moving heavy machine tools, managing shipments, and supporting our service team as you grow into the role.

You'll be responsible for:
Hands-on machine handling — using jacking equipment to lift and position heavy machines, rolling machines into place on machine moving skates, rigging, and operating a large forklift (20,000 lbs+) to lift and move equipment. Also responsible for shipping and receiving, planning and coordinating large shipments, unloading trailers, and general facility management — organizing and moving equipment, keeping the shop productive and secure. You'll also work alongside our service team as a Jr. Service Technician, building toward more hands-on CNC service work over time.

What you bring: Valid forklift certification and rigging experience — both required. Hands-on experience with heavy machine jacking and skating. Comfort working around heavy machinery and machine tools. Robust organizational skills and the ability to plan and execute large shipments and equipment moves safely.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
