Our client is seeking an experienced Production Team Lead to oversee daily operations within a rapid-paced automotive manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for coordinating production activities, supporting team performance, maintaining safety and quality standards, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Lead daily production activities and ensure standardized work processes are followed.
Coordinate staffing, job rotation, schedules, and production priorities to meet targets.
Train, coach, and support production associates while maintaining training records and skills matrices.
Monitor safety, quality, production, and 5S requirements throughout the shift.
Identify production issues, support root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Communicate production requirements, concerns, and performance updates to team members and management.
Promote Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
Coordinate additional work, maintenance, and 5S activities as required.
Complete required safety, quality, production, and incident documentation.
Work closely with other team leads and departments to optimize manpower and production flow.

What You Bring




2+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in automotive production.
Previous leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience is an asset.
Strong understanding of JIT manufacturing, 5S, standardized work, and continuous improvement.
Ability to train, coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable.
Strong problem-solving, organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
Basic math and computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work overtime when required.
