Responsibilities
Assist in preparing ingredients and components for a variety of Indian dishes, including chopping, marinating, and portioning
Support the cooking team by following recipes and food preparation procedures to ensure authentic flavors and presentation
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and rotation to minimize waste
Assist in setting up stations for service, including garnishing and plating as directed by chefs
Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues




Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation during busy service hours

Skills
Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
Solid understanding of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation practices in a skilled kitchen
Basic cooking skills with an interest in Indian cuisine and meal preparation techniques
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a quick-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration and communication
Knowledge of food industry standards related to cleanliness, safety, and quality assurance
Serving experience or familiarity with customer service principles is a plus but not mandatory

Pay: $17.60-$24.61 per hour
