Process Assistant – Industrial Wastewater Treatment

Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and safety-focused Process Assistant to support operations at an industrial wastewater treatment facility.

Responsibilities
Pump and transfer wastewater from treatment tanks.
Perform manual bulk chemical additions according to procedures.
Monitor and operate wastewater treatment equipment.
Assist with wastewater treatment processes from electroplating operations.
Monitor chemical levels and process conditions.
Troubleshoot basic equipment and process issues.
Follow environmental regulations and safety guidelines.
Handle hazardous chemicals safely while wearing required PPE.
Operate a forklift to move materials and chemicals.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Perform hands-on industrial work and be willing to get dirty when required.

Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in plating, wastewater treatment, or a related industrial workplace – REQUIRED.
Valuable understanding of chemistry and chemical processes.




Experience handling chemicals in an industrial environment.
Forklift experience is an asset.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work safely with hazardous materials.
Reliable, responsible, and willing to learn.
Ability to wear PPE and follow all safety procedures.
Comfortable working in a hands-on industrial environment.

Important: Candidates must have at least 1 year of relevant plating or wastewater treatment experience.

Pay: $22.00 per hour
