Stem and Seed Behaviour Consultation is seeking 1–2 Behaviour Interventionists (BIs) to join our growing team in Surrey. We support children and youth ranging from early intervention (age 2+) through high school.
Programming includes:
Play-based early intervention goals
Social skills and emotional regulation
Executive functioning
Community outings and real-life skill building
Communication
Life skills
All programming is designed and supervised by BCBA Gureet Takhar. Client-specific training and ongoing supervision will be provided.
Afternoon / After-school hours and weekends
Ideal candidates can commit to at least 2–3 consistent sessions per week.
Ideal Candidate
At least 1 year working with children or youth on the spectrum
Able to build rapport with children, engage them and utilize instructional control
Reliable, punctual, and skilled
Strong attention to detail
Stay calm in high-stress environments
Excellent problem solver, creative in solutions, takes initiative
Able to take feedback and implement programming consistently
Comfortable working in home and community settings
Access to own means of transportation
Comfortable working on life skills such as toileting and feeding
Can provide 2 references relevant to Behaviour Interventionist job
Can provide criminal record check upon request
