About the Position

Deals for Dollars Gimli is seeking a mature and dependable individual to join our team. The successful candidate will take genuine pride in the presentation and organization of the store, has a visual for merchandising and will contribute to a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilites
Execute merchandising duties; maintaining a clean, organized and visually appealing sales floor.
Pricing stock and placing on shelving as it is received.
Ensure shelves are faced, product gaps are filled and displays are properly maintained.
Manage and organize inventory in the back room, including receiving and rotation of stock.
Provide courteous and productive customer service.
Operate the cash register accurately.

What We're Looking For




Mature reliable work ethic with a solid sense of ownership over assigned tasks
Ability to perform physical work, including prolonged standing and lifting of up to approximately 20 lbs
Comfort with basic point of sale operations
Takes initiative and looks for tasks that need to be completed
Able to manage time effectively and stay productive throughout the day
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Previous retail experience is an asset

Compensation
$17.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
