Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Front Counter Attendant/Cashier to join our CHICK-N-JOY team. In this position, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service and keeping a clean, organized work environment. Your ability to manage time effectively and engage with customers will help create a positive experience.

Duties
Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders at the front counter
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process cash, credit, and digital payments accurately
Prepare easy food items in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards
Handle food with care, ensuring proper hygiene and adherence to food handling protocols
Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, dining space, and kitchen surfaces in compliance with sanitation regulations
Manage cash handling duties efficiently, including giving correct change and balancing cash drawers at shift end
Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive experience




Assist in basic food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff during busy periods
Follow all safety procedures related to food industry standards and workplace sanitation

Experience
Prior experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards in the food industry is a plus
Experience in serving or cashiering roles that require multitasking and upselling techniques

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 35.0 per week
