I am looking for a reliable, patient, and compassionate caregiver for a child, who is on the autism spectrum. He is very loving and thrives with structure and consistency. This role involves morning and evening care during weekdays, as well as full-day care on weekends.

Position: Permanent, full time

Location: Coaldale, Alberta

Hours: 30 hours per week

Wage: $20.00 per hour

Language: English

Responsibilities include:
Supervise and care for child
Prepare and serve meals
Assist with dressing, bathing and personal hygiene
Assist with toileting
Organize activities, play and outings
Support emotional well-being and social development
Maintain a protected and healthy workplace in the home
Light housekeeping and laundry related to child care




Transport child to and from school/daycare and appointments
Follow established routines and instructions

Requirements:
Experience with children is an asset
Experience with autism or special-needs children is an asset
Valid driver’s licence
First Aid/CPR
Criminal record check and vulnerable sector check
Reliable, patient, organized and caring

Work is performed in the employer’s private home in Coaldale. The schedule may include early mornings, evenings and weekends.

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week
