We are looking for an exceptional Pharmacy Assistant for our Dispensary room! We are a leading compounding pharmacy group that has expanded into a current world-class facility in Mississauga.
This position is for a Pharmacy Assistant that will work with the compounding pharmacists and technicians to produce high-quality compounded products. Our facility will be fully compliant with the NAPRA guidelines and will offer sterile, non-sterile and hazardous compounding. Comprehensive training will be provided in detail for the successful applicant.
Responsibilities
Processing payments
Packaging deliveries according to handling requirements and storage conditions
Sending deliveries through various companies
Managing delivery inquiries and communicating with pharmacy staff, customers and suppliers
Ordering delivery supplies
Receiving, organizing and packing away orders
Data entry and maintaining delivery records
Packing and linking in the dispensary
Filling prescriptions
Setting up orders for delivery
Any other appropriate pharmacy assistant or administrative duties
Qualifications
Prior experience in a community pharmacy is required
Strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for record keeping and inventory management
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
On-site training will be provided to ensure efficient delivery of all duties.
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
