Job Summary
The Maintenance Person is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of facilities and equipment. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and implementing preventive measures to maintain a protected and efficient working workplace. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in mechanical, electrical, plumbing and facilities maintenance.

Duties
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
Preventative maintenance.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment in the hotel.
Clean and repair PTAC units in rooms.
Diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
Oversee residential painting projects to maintain aesthetic standards.
Touch up or replace drywall that has been damaged by guests.
Clean, backwash and test pool.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.




Provide excellent customer service when interacting with staff or clients regarding maintenance concerns.

Skills
Proficient in electrical/plumbing experience and mechanical knowledge relevant to facility maintenance are an asset.
Strong understanding of schematics for troubleshooting various systems.
Experience in residential painting techniques and standards.
Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities role is preferred.
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
Self driven to repair issues but also tackle preventative maintenance.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00 per hour
