In this role you will collaborate closely with the Systems Assurance Director, Systems Integration Leads, and the broader IETS Team to drive the delivery of a portfolio of cutting‑edge infrastructure projects.This position offers an opportunity to enhance your RAMS and security expertise within an Infrastructure Engineering team. You will interface and present with industry professionals, gaining exposure to Operations & Maintenance, Power Systems, Highway and Traffic Control Systems, Transportation Technologies, and Civil Infrastructure/Building Systems.ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will apply RAMS processes and appropriate methods within projects according to client requirements, applicable rules, regulations, and standards; support compliance of RAMS processes; gather and/or establishRAMS requirements for designs; and perform design verifications/studies to confirm RAMS requirements conformance.Review and understand contractual performance RAMS and security requirements.Perform reliability prediction modeling of infrastructure and interfacing systems and apportion RAMS requirements to lower subsystem levels using techniques such as Reliability Block Diagram and Failure Modes, Effects,



and Criticality Analysis.Conduct independent peer‑review reliability calculations and maintenance calculations to verify product design.Define maintenance LRU strategy to ensure design reliability and optimize maintenance costs.Review suppliers’ RAMS documentation and address non‑compliances with the support of the project team.Develop RAMS demonstration plans, FRACAS plans, and procedures in cooperation with Project Management and field teams.Ensure that Systems Assurance/RAMS processes are followed throughout the project lifecycle by all stakeholders.Perform various analyses as described in the EN50126 V‑Cycle model, Canadian Method of Risk Evaluation and Assessment, or aligned to MIL‑STD‑882.Support Threat and Vulnerability Assessment process and derive project security requirements that mitigate vulnerabilities.Support maturation of an Integrated Hazard Log and derive project safety requirements that mitigate hazards.Assist in developing the Engineering Safety Assurance Case or similar documents from a RAMS and security perspective.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering.Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario or British Columbia, or PE in U.S. states preferred.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Systems Engineering/Systems Assurance/RAMS workplace, with preference for rail transit experience and familiarity with CENELEC standards.Experience in the Systems Engineering lifecycle,
