Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our manufacturing team. Your keen eye for detail, strong analysis skills, and commitment to quality management will drive continuous improvement across our processes. You will overall be responsible for inspecting and testing product and processes to assess conformance to customer and internal quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Inspect raw materials (produce), work in progress (WIP) and finished product to ensure they meet customer specifications and food safety compliance.
Follow internal company quality policies, procedures and programs. Assist in developing related documents.
Audit Machine Operators quality inspection checklists on a daily basis.
Perform chemical tests (Peracetic acid - PAA) and temperature checks using testing kit, ruler, scales, micrometer, etc. multiple times a day as directed.
Analyze PAA test results and submit accurate and timely documentation to management including detailed checklists and photos.
Collect product samples for shelf-life testing.
Conduct daily pre-operational inspection checks to ensure compliance to sanitation standards.




Conduct random hygiene and housekeeping audits to prevent microbial contamination.
Ensure complete and accurate records of all testing and evaluations are maintained and verified for compliance to specifications.
Document non-conformance such as critical control point (CCP), critical limits, monitoring and deviation procedures and/or steps to be taken and report such to management.
Support regulator audits by providing documentation and responding to questions from Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) as needed.
Train current employees on company quality standards and customer quality specifications.

Pay: $18.50-$23.00 per hour
