Automotive Dismantler

IQM Auto Parts is hiring a full time Automotive Dismantler for our Brooks, Alberta location.

We are looking for someone reliable, hardworking, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working around vehicles and heavy parts.

Responsibilities:
Dismantle cars, trucks, and SUVs
Remove engines, transmissions, differentials, suspension, body parts, interiors, and other automotive components
Operate a forklift to move vehicles, engines, transmissions, and parts
Drain vehicle fluids and prepare vehicles for dismantling
Tag, organize, and store removed parts
Remove parts carefully to avoid unnecessary damage
Keep the dismantling area clean, organized, and safe
Follow daily dismantling and production priorities

Requirements:
Automotive or mechanical experience preferred
Forklift experience
Auto recycling or dismantling experience is an asset
Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and air tools




Able to identify common automotive components
Physically capable of lifting and handling automotive parts
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Able to work outdoors when required

Position Details:
Full time
Approximately 40 hours per week
Monday to Friday
Pay: $17–$24 per hour
Starting wage depends on experience and ability

Experience working in an auto recycling yard, mechanic shop, salvage yard, or similar environment is a robust asset.
