About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a motivated Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join their automation team in Kimberley . This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate to kick-start their career in a technically challenging field. You will be involved in the design, development, and implementation of automated systems and machinery.

Working alongside experienced engineers, you will gain hands-on experience and contribute to innovative automation solutions within a progressive company. Key Responsibilities

Assist in the design and development of mechanical components for automated systems and robotics. Support the integration of sensors, actuators, and control systems into mechanical designs. Prepare technical drawings, documentation, and Bills of Materials using CAD software.

Participate in the testing and commissioning of automated machinery. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and propose solutions for improvement.



Collaborate with software engineers and controls specialists to ensure system functionality.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. 0-2 years of experience in mechanical design or automation (internships count). Basic understanding of mechanical principles, automation, and control systems. Proficiency with CAD software is required; experience with PLC programming is a plus.
