Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder/Installer to join our agile manufacturing and construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and installing various metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will help ensure that projects are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.

Duties
Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding to fabricate and repair metal structures according to detailed blueprints and schematics
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to guide fabrication and installation processes
Use plasma cutting tools, press brake machines, hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other equipment to shape and assemble metal components
Conduct rigging operations to safely lift, position, and secure heavy materials or equipment during installation
Install ductwork, mechanical systems, or structural components following project specifications and safety standards
Operate forklifts and cranes as needed for material handling and positioning during assembly or installation tasks




Utilize basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality control checks throughout fabrication and installation processes

Experience
Proven experience in welding (MIG and TIG) within manufacturing or construction environments
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately
Hands-on experience with rigging, machining, plasma cutting, press brake machines, and hand/power tools
Knowledge of construction practices related to ductwork installation or structural assembly
Familiarity with schematics, blueprint reading, and basic math for precise fabrication work
Prior experience operating forklifts or cranes is highly desirable
Ability to work safely in a rapid-paced workplace while maintaining high-quality standards
