Position: Interim Assistant Controller Location: In office, 5 days/week, Cambridge/Kitchener Duration: 3+ months Robert Half is seeking an Interim Assistant Controller to support the finance team.

This role comes at a critical time of year and will play an significant part in supporting month-end, budgeting, forecasting, audit preparation, and year-end activities.

This is an excellent prospect for an experienced Assistant Controller/Senior Accountant who enjoys a hands-on role and is comfortable supporting both operational accounting and day-to-day finance activities.

In addition, this role will have significant involvement with farming operations , inventory, biological assets, and inventory/costing flows across multiple barn locations.

Responsibilities: Lead month-end close activities for operations Support AP, AR, costing, and inventory accounting Assist with annual budgeting and three-year forecasting Help prepare for preliminary audit work and year-end audit support Work closely with operational leadership to provide financial reporting and analysis Provide hands-on support with transactional accounting, including AP coverage as needed Assist with consolidation of financial information across the business
