- Schedule & Hours: Standard daylight hours during the landscaping season, shifting to on-call, weather-dependent hours during winter snow-clearing operations to ensure 24/7 property safety.

In this vital year-round role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing diverse residential and commercial outdoor spaces to ensure they are safe, attractive, and functional across all seasons. Duties & Responsibilities

- Property Landscaping: Perform daily landscaping tasks including high-end residential and commercial mowing, trimming, planting, and pruning to maintain healthy lawns and attractive grounds.
- Winter Snow & Ice Management: Operate snow removal equipment (plows, blowers, salt spreaders, shovels) to transparent parking lots, walkways, driveways, and building entrances; apply de-icing materials proactively during winter weather events.
- Equipment Operation:



Safely operate heavy machinery such as excavators for site preparation, landscape installation, or major earth-moving projects.
- Tool Utilization: Use hand tools and power tools effectively for tasks like edging, aerating, fertilizing, and soil preparation.
- Site Property Inspections: Conduct routine safety and maintenance inspections across various residential and commercial sites to identify hazards, damage, or seasonal liabilities.
- Preventative Mechanical Maintenance: Clean, service, and perform routine mechanical checks on landscaping tools, vehicles, and snow removal machinery to ensure optimal, safe performance.
- Landscape Construction: Assist with construction projects related to hardscaping, landscape improvements, or facility upgrades.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven, professional experience in residential or commercial landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture practices.
- Winter Operations: Previous snow & ice management experience is an asset; must be comfortable operating winter equipment and must be able to work outside in cold winter weather.
- Machinery & Mechanical Aptitude: Strong mechanical knowledge for operating and servicing tools, specialized machinery (including excavators), and basic winter equipment.
- Site Preparation: Familiarity with site preparation, grading, or landscape construction is highly desirable.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy manual labour outdoors in all weather extremes (heat, rain, freezing temperatures, heavy snow); ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs / 23 kg regularly).
- Safety & Detail Orientation: Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to routine upkeep, mechanical safety, and winter hazard mitigation.
- License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred (for operating facility vehicles, plow trucks, and travelling between properties).

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
