As an Industrial Hygienist at the New Afton mine, your mission will be maintaining a safe and compliant work environment by evaluating and controlling health hazards.

Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager, you will conduct exposure surveys, manage the hazardous materials program, and guide training initiatives. Current Gold fosters career development in a collaborative culture. Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct exposure surveys and analysis per assessment strategies
- Manage and report on Hazardous Materials programs
- Develop training modules related to industrial hygiene
- Participate in site safety information sharing
- Implement an Industrial Hygiene Monitoring Database Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 5+ years in health & safety/industrial hygiene
- Certification in Industrial Hygiene preferred
- Knowledge of applicable safety regulations
- Strong communication and organizational skills Drive safety initiatives and health compliance at New Gold’s New Afton mining site.
