Big Country Equipment Repair is seeking Field Health & Safety Advisors to join their team in Kamloops, BC. This field-based role involves supporting health and safety programs across multiple sites in Canada, with significant travel required. The ideal candidates will have experience in health and safety within resource sectors and a strong commitment to compliance and employee well-being.

What You’ll Need

- NCSO (National Construction Safety Officer) designation or OHS Certificate
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar health and safety role




- Experience in mining, construction, or oil & gas is an asset
- Experience with ISNetworld, Avetta, ComplyWorks, or similar platforms is an asset
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and related legislation
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and training skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly (50–70% field time)
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract
- Successful completion of pre-access drug and alcohol screening
