Monday-Friday 9-5am with 2 weeks vacation

Salary: $50,000–$100,000 annually

Innisfil Hearing Centre is an independent adult hearing rehabilitation practice. We are seeking a patient-centred Hearing Instrument Specialist to provide excellent clinical care and build lasting relationships with the people we serve.

The Role

You will divide your time equally between our Innisfil and Angus clinics, with occasional scheduled days at our Thornton location. Clinical hearing care is the primary focus of the position.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct adult hearing assessments, complete case histories, identify appropriate referrals, and maintain clear clinical documentation.
- Recommend, fit, program and verify hearing technology using real ear measurement and other clinically appropriate tools.
- Provide counselling, orientation, troubleshooting, maintenance support and follow-up care for patients and their communication partners.
- Maintain accurate records, consent and privacy documentation, funding paperwork and manufacturer documentation.
- Work collaboratively with the clinic owner and support team to provide a consistent, welcoming patient experience across locations.
- Support community relationships and patient follow-up as appropriate.

Qualifications

- Current AHIP membership in good standing and appropriate skilled liability coverage.
- Experience with adult hearing care, hearing aid fitting, real ear verification and follow-up.
- Strong clinical judgement, warm communication skills and a patient-first approach.
- ADP authorizer status is an asset.
- Experience with Signia, Widex, Phonak or other major hearing-aid manufacturers is an asset.
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
