Become a vital part of Toronto’s community as a Newcomer Youth Advisor with the YMCA. This full time role is focused on supporting newcomer youth's journeys through tailored programming and engagement activities. Take the lead in creating impactful youth programs that facilitate integration and leadership.

You will collaboratively work with staff and community organizations to promote, recruit, and support newcomer youth and their families. Continuous assessments of community needs will guide your efforts to enhance program outreach and effectiveness. Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement youth programming for newcomers
Recruit diverse membership and manage participant retention
Organize and oversee community service projects
Present at schools to promote NYLD initiatives
Collaborate on engagement and family activities Requirements:
Degree or diploma in a related field
Experience working with youth and diverse populations
Solid facilitation and interpersonal skills
Open to adaptable scheduling for community needs
Proficient with Microsoft Office and relational database management Foster connections and leadership opportunities for newcomer youth in Toronto through your passion and expertise.
