Tech is looking for Waste Spot Checkers to join their Solid Waste Management team in Saskatoon. This temporary role encompasses checking blue and green waste carts for contamination and recording findings on a tablet. The position runs from mid-October to mid-December, requiring a maximum of 28 hours weekly and a commitment to protected work practices. Key Responsibilities:
Inspect waste carts for contaminants and proper usage
Document findings accurately using a tablet
Educate residents regarding waste disposal processes
Conduct duties adhering to safety and legal standards
Report any safety incidents or concerns promptly Requirements:
Awareness of environmental management issues
Reliable transportation to Saskatoon worksites
CSA Green Triangle safety boots required
Excellent communication and resident interaction skills
