RESPONSIBILITIES: Deliver Ontario Curriculum-aligned lessons across English Language Arts (phonics, guided reading, writing), Mathematics, Science & Technology, and Social Studies for Grades 1–6. Prepare long-range plans, unit plans, lesson plans, and homework materials with clear learning objectives.

Use developmentally appropriate strategies: play-based and multi-sensory for primary learners; structured inquiry and skill-building for junior students. Plan and deliver differentiated lessons that address the full range of abilities within the class. Motivate students through enthusiastic, imaginative, and engaging classroom activities. Organise the classroom and learning resources; create displays that promote a positive, welcoming learning workplace. Maintain appropriate standards of behaviour, mutual respect,



and safety within the classroom. Supervise students during classes, breaks, transitions, and other times throughout the school day. Conduct formal and informal ongoing assessment; prepare report cards, progress reports, and provide meaningful feedback to support student growth. Discuss student progress and concerns with parents and administrators, and attend parent-teacher interviews and extracurricular activities.

Integrate
