Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced proactive and skilled Hotel Maintenance Person to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the physical infrastructure, troubleshooting issues promptly, and ensuring a protected, comfortable environment for guests and staff alike. Your expertise will help uphold our commitment to excellence and guest satisfaction by delivering reliable maintenance services with energy and professionalism.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal functioning.
- Respond swiftly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, resolving issues efficiently to minimize disruptions.
- Conduct repairs using welding, electrical skills, or mechanical knowledge.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
- Oversee facilities maintenance projects, including upgrades or renovations, ensuring safety standards are met.
- Supervise or assist with team members involved in facilities upkeep, demonstrating leadership and ensuring tasks are completed effectively.




- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations while maintaining a clean, safe environment for all hotel occupants.

Requirements

- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field within the hospitality or manufacturing industry.
- Supervising experience is preferred to lead maintenance teams effectively.
- Strong electrical experience.
- Ability to read technical schematics and perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate tasks clearly with team members and vendors.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with a customer service-oriented mindset.
- Basic understanding of facilities maintenance standards, safety procedures, and building codes.
- Experience with indoor pool is definitely an asset.
