The Lab Technician

Co-op Program at IKO provides students in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or Engineering Technology the chance to participate in impactful research for 12 months. You'll support laboratory functions through testing, documentation, and equipment assistance, all while following best practices for safety and quality. Key Responsibilities:

- Participate in research projects as assigned by the manager
- Maintain and prepare technical documentation related to lab tasks
- Perform routine laboratory tests according to safety protocols
- Organize and record experimental data efficiently
- Help ensure timely shipments of analyzed samples Requirements:
- Senior-level student studying relevant sciences or engineering
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational ability
- Strong problem-solving skills in laboratory settings
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Able to occasionally lift weights between 25 - 50 lbs Embark on a fulfilling career path with IKO and gain essential hands-on experience in laboratory operations.
