In this exciting opportunity, you will learn the ins and outs of numerous areas of the business and be on a positive career growth trajectory with a great company!Job Title: Counter SalespersonLocation: Surrey, B.C.Pay Range: $50k to $60k per year plus profit sharing bonusWhat's the Job?Assist customers who purchase material at the Profit Centre countersResearch product for customers and provide recommendations on our assortment of productDrive sales growth through ownership of counter merchandising, product promotion, and generate leads for the Outside Account Manager while networking with customers at the counterEnter, pick, and pack sales orders generated at the counterMaintain and clean the counter area including any merchandising displaysInform the buyer when stocks levels are lowFollow up on backorders with vendors and provide customers accurate delivery datesProcess returns and warranty claims to customers both on account and cash sales including paperwork in compliance with all proceduresNavigate and find a solution for customer concerns and complaintsPerform other tasks as requested by the Profit Centre ManagerWhat's Needed?Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; College and/or University degree an assetA minimum of 2 years of experience with customer service or counter sales is preferred.Outstanding customer service and verbal communication skillsExcellent relationship building skills with customers, vendors, and teammatesAbility to learn and operate the applicable software system used to process ordersExperience working in a fast-paced environmentIntermediate math skills with a strong attention to detailKnowledge of plumbing wholesale, parts,
