Softscape Labour – Union Position

Responsibilities:
Proper installation of plants and plant material
Able to install shrubs/trees/sod/topsoil/mulch
Vigilant for safety and hazards at all times
Digging by hand
Pushing wheel barrels
Grading for sod installation
Always adhere to our safe work practices and procedures

Requirements:
Must have at least 3 years of Softscape experience
Proven experience installing shrubs/trees/sod
A solid understanding of landscape materials gained from experience
Ability to work outdoors for long lengths of time




Able to work in all temperatures and weather conditions
Able to lift 50lbs
Excellent communication skills
Presentable and qualified at all times
Positive work ethic, punctual and dependable
Must be detail oriented
Work well in a team
G License is an asset
WHMIS, Worker Health and Safety and Working at Heights Certificates
