Duties
Operate snow removal equipment such as plows, blowers, and salt spreaders to clear snow and ice from designated areas
Use hand tools and power tools to perform detailed snow clearing tasks in hard-to-reach spots or delicate landscaping areas
Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure optimal performance throughout the winter season
Apply salt or other de-icing materials safely to prevent ice formation on walkways and driveways
Collaborate with team members to prioritize snow removal routes and ensure timely completion of tasks
Conduct routine inspections of outdoor spaces for hazards caused by snow or ice buildup and address them promptly
Skills
Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on snow removal tools and equipment
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in outdoor maintenance tasks
Solid understanding of safety procedures related to snow removal operations
