Your Opportunity
An exciting chance for a Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE), who leads the planning, co-ordination, implementation, and evaluation of education activities for staff working within the Enhanced Care Unit (TCU) and Transition Care Unit (TCU). The role will support clinical competencies, organizational standards/practices/guidelines in collaboration with the leadership team. The CNE will have opportunity to work within a dynamic environment to support 2 units.
ECU is designed to meet the needs of individuals who present with a combination of dementia syndrome and complex behavioral issues with moderate to severe responsive behaviours. TCU is designed for clients waiting transitions either returning home or waiting for the appropriate living options. Reporting to the Care Manager, the CNE functions as a change agent and resource to nursing staff for professional development and clinical competence.

We embrace the philosophy of person and family centered care and recognize that each client and family member has unique values, personal history and an equal right to dignity, respect, and to participate fully in their environment. Your success will come from creating partnerships and relationships with clients, families and coworkers that will lead to the best client outcomes and enhance quality of life.
