Kinship is a licensed preneed insurance agency based in Ontario and Nova Scotia, working with funeral homes and pre-planning specialists across six Canadian provinces: Ontario, Nova Scotia, Current Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland & Labrador, and Manitoba. The Role

We are hiring a licensed, personable, and highly organized Pre-Planning Specialist to join our team in a fully remote role that blends family consultation, partner support, client service, and administration.

You will be a key point of contact for our funeral home partners and the families they refer to us. You will guide families through their pre-planning conversations from first contact through to policy issue, keep our administrative processes running smoothly, and deliver warm, knowledgeable service by phone, email, and in person.

This is a work-from-home position with the autonomy to manage your own day and the backing of a close, specialized team.

What You'll Do

- Guide families through the pre-planning process with clarity and genuine care, by phone, email, and in person
- Educate families on their final arrangement options and the funding solutions available to them
- Work in partnership with funeral homes and their staff to support and build their preneed programs
- Process applications, documentation, and policy administration accurately and on time
- Act as a reliable, responsive resource for our funeral home partners




- Keep records organized and support the day-to-day operations that keep everything moving

What You Bring Required

- An active life insurance licence in good standing in any Canadian province, LLQP-qualified. Where you live is not a limitation. Licensing follows the families you serve, so whichever provinces you write in, we will support you in obtaining and maintaining the licences you need
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You are clear, warm, and professional over email, on the phone, and face to face
- Strong organization and a sharp eye for detail
- Comfort and self-discipline working independently in a remote environment

- Genuine care for the families you serve, and the patience to educate rather than sell

Nice to Have

- Based in Ontario, or licensed there already
- Licensing in more than one province, particularly Ontario, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, PEI, Newfoundland & Labrador, or Manitoba
- Licensed funeral director in good standing
- Preneed sales licence with the Bereavement Authority of Ontario
- Prior preneed experience
- French language ability, written and spoken

Compensation &

Benefits

- Base salary of $70,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on experience
- Bonus potential on top of base salary
