The Near North District School

Board is hiring for an LTO position to promote awareness of Indigenous perspectives among students. Successful applicants will need a valid Ontario College of Teachers Certificate and Intermediate qualifications.

Responsibilities include supporting at-risk learners and integrating technology into instruction and communication. Key Responsibilities:

- Connect students and families with Indigenous resources
- Advocate for Literacy and Numeracy across the school
- Utilize EDSBY to track and support student progress
- Integrate technology in the evaluation of student work
- Work collaboratively with the educational team Requirements:
- Valid Ontario College of Teachers Certificate and Registration
- Intermediate teaching qualifications required
- Deep understanding of Indigenous cultures and traditions
- Experience with Apple devices and educational software
